Sandra Simmons

Client Intake Specialist

Sandra Simmons is the Client Intake Specialist at GHHI. In this role, she is often the first person to engage with individuals and families we will serve. Professionalism is the word that those future clients use to describe Sandra as she treats each person she speaks to with care and attention, ensuring that they are heard and that their questions are answered.

Before joining GHHI, Sandra was a Family Investment Supervisor for the Maryland Department of Human Services, and she also worked for the Maryland Board of Nursing. While a native of Baltimore, she has traveled throughout the country, especially when serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Sandra credits her grandchildren with keeping her happy, smiling, and up on all the new trends. When she’s not at work, spending time with them, and other family and friends, is where you will find her. Sandra has a BA in Business Administration and a MA in Public Health Management from Strayer University.
