ProMedica National Social Determinants of Health Institute Announces Partnership with GHHI to Improve the Health of Individuals and Communities by Improving the Safety and Energy Efficiency of Homes
April 7, 2021 – The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative applauds the vision and commitment of ProMedica in its landmark efforts to address social determinants of health and equity by creating healthier housing. ProMedica’s National Social Determinants of Health Institute has astutely identified housing as a key factor impacting health outcomes and is committed to an unprecedented investment through its Impact Fund in safe and affordable housing in low income, black and brown communities across the country. This pioneering project serves as a national model for how anchor institutions and the healthcare sector can create transformational change through strategic investments and demonstrated leadership in the field.
