Home Inspections Go Virtual During Stay-Home Orders
Using technology, GHHI can continue to serve our community and improve health outcomes, even as we stay at home.
WBAL-TV Channel 11 News interviewed Africa Wright, a homeowner in Baltimore’s historic Marble Hill neighborhood, who was concerned about her family’s health and safety during Maryland’s stay-home order. Wright shared, “(I was) confused, stressed out knowing I had a small infant develop a cough, knowing how old this house is and possible issues with dust and mold.”
GHHI’s CEO and President, Ruth Ann Norton, was also interviewed and shared how GHHI reacted to COVID-19 swiftly through virtual home assessments: “We needed to pivot really quickly… and it has turned into being a service we’re going to incorporate moving forward as part of a pre-discussion before we move into people’s homes.”
