  • The CDC’s Division of Emergency and Environmental Health Services is currently recruiting a Chief for its Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program. The position plans, directs and supervises scientific and programmatic activities and staff related to childhood lead poisoning prevention.

  • It’s hard to believe anything positive could come from Hurricane Katrina, but 11 years later, a researcher says the storm is making a difference by lowering the level of lead found in the soil.
  • Scientists at the University of Michigan say they have developed a new lead paint test designed to provide “more clear and accurate results than its  counterparts.”
