Johnette Richardson serves as the Senior Vice President, Maryland Programs for the Green and Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI), where she spearheads the organization’s efforts to drive systemic change and manage critical direct service operations across Maryland. Her role extends to pioneering innovative strategies that shape training and program implementation, setting the standard for best practices across the GHHI footprint.

With a career spanning over two decades in community development and organizational leadership, Johnette’s expertise will be instrumental in transforming the Maryland Program’s approach, ensuring that GHHI’s services deliver profound impacts on the families and communities they serve.

Johnette’s unwavering commitment to social, economic, and environmental justice is the cornerstone of her work. She is dedicated to being a force for good, striving to ensure that every initiative under her guidance not only achieves its objectives but also fosters empowerment and upliftment within the community.

Her journey in leadership is decorated with notable recognitions, including being named among the Daily Record’s Leading Women, Associated Black Charities’ Women on the Move, and Maryland’s Top 100 Women. Johnette is also a proud graduate of NeighborWorks Achieving Excellence Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership program, the Bank of America Neighborhood Excellence Initiative Leadership program, and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Fellowship.

Johnette is a proud holder of a Bachelor of Science from Morgan State University and an MBA from Regis University. Her personal life is deeply rooted in Northeast Baltimore, where she resides with her husband Evan, daughter Zoe, and their beloved Goldendoodle, Davis. In her vision for the future, Johnette is committed to continuing her impactful work, fostering sustainable communities, and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
