Brandon Castro

Implementation Coordinator

Brandon Castro serves as the New Jersey Whole House Pilot Implementation Coordinator for the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative. He comes from a background in student and community organizing. A graduate from the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, Brandon worked as a student organizer to encourage universities to cut contracts with apparel providers with abusive labor practices.

Brandon previously worked as an organizer and educator with the Work Environment Council of New Jersey, where he helped design, facilitate, and proliferate workshops on economic justice and organizing, and where he advocated for worker-first economic policies.
