Monica Dean, Director of Human Resources at the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI), brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. Her mission is to foster a positive work environment and align HR strategies seamlessly with GHHI’s overarching goals.

Monica’s journey includes pivotal roles at Business Management Associates. As Deputy PMO Manager, she oversaw project management operations, ensuring successful execution across various initiatives. As Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Manager, she spearheaded recruitment efforts, crafted HR policies, and strategically managed talent acquisition to drive organizational growth.

Monica began her recruitment career in 1997 at Howard University. There, she recruited talent across diverse divisions and later became the Talent Acquisition Recruitment Coordinator. Her insights into recruitment made her a recognized Subject Matter Expert in the field.

Before joining GHHI, Monica served as the Management Liaison Specialist for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in Washington, DC. There, she pioneered innovative recruiting strategies and provided unwavering support throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.

Monica studied Business Management at Prince George’s Community College. Currently, she is pursuing a Professional Certification from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP).
