GHHI HUD Older Adults Home Modification Grant Program NOFA Webinar – March 22, 2021
The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative and HUD’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes provided a Webinar training and question and answer session on March 22, 2021 on the 2021 HUD Older Adults Home Modification Grant Program NOFA. The overall purpose of the Older Adults Home Modification Grant Program is to assist experienced non-profit organizations, state and local governments, and public housing authorities in undertaking comprehensive programs that make safety and functional home modifications and limited repairs to meet the needs of low-income elderly homeowners.
$30 million in estimated HUD grant funding is available under this NOFA with approximately 30 grant awards anticipated. Grant application submissions through Grants.gov are due by May 4, 2021.
