Program Officer, Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program

Sira Faye is a Program Officer for GHHI’s Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program (TCGM). In this role, Sira collaborates with a team dedicated to providing environmental justice grants to historically disinvested communities in EPA’s Mid-Atlantic Region 3. With an extensive background in philanthropy, Sira is driven by her passion for fostering long-term, sustainable change.

Previously, she served as a Program Officer at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, where she managed several initiatives, including the GHHI Buffalo program and the GHHI Asthma pilot, which aimed to improve housing conditions and health outcomes in the community. Sira holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from The New School in New York City and is a retired contemporary dancer.
